Reservations: All reservations are made by car category and not by specific model. In case of unavailability of a confirmed reservation, Mascot reserves the right to provide the customer with a car of a higher category at no extra charge.
Driver: Minimum age is 23 years old with at least one year since the issuance of the driving license.
Payment Method: Payment is made via bank transfer to the account IBAN: GR8001103830000038300365368
A credit card (Visa or MasterCard) is only required if you have not selected the SCDW insurance at the time of rental.
The rental must be prepaid.
Cancellations: Reservation cancellations must be made at least seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled start of the vehicle rental according to the reservation made through the online booking form on the website. If you wish to cancel a reservation, the only accepted method is via SMS to the mobile phones +30 6973030101 and +30 6940022833
The following charges will apply for reservation cancellations:
If Mascot is notified of the cancellation at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled start of the vehicle rental according to the reservation made through the online booking form on the website, a full refund will be issued.
The minimum rental duration is 4 days
Delivery – Pick-up: Delivery and pick-up to and from the airport are free of charge during operating hours: 08:00 – 22:00. Outside operating hours, a €25 fee applies.
Additional Driver: The charge for an additional driver is €8/day.
Child Seat: The charge for a child seat is €5/day.
Fuel: The renter must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as received. If returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged the fuel difference. No refund is given for returning the vehicle with more fuel. Vehicles are delivered with a minimum of 1/4 tank.
Kilometers: Prices for rentals of 4 days or longer include unlimited kilometers.
Accident: In case of an accident, the renter must inform the company and the police and provide the police accident report upon return. If the renter is at fault, a €40 fee applies for accident case handling expenses.
Insurance: Vehicles are insured against third-party liability for property damage (excluding a) the driver and passengers of the rented vehicle and b) Mascot’s vehicle).
CDW – Collision Damage Waiver: The renter is fully exempt from liability for any vehicle damage:
1) Over €750 + VAT if they accept and sign the relevant terms of the company's contract for categories A, B, C, D, E
2) Over €950 + VAT for categories F and G
A necessary condition is driving in accordance with the Highway Code. Damage to tires, undercarriage, and theft of personal belongings are not covered by any insurance.
SCDW – Super Collision Damage Waiver: The renter is fully exempt from liability for any vehicle damage:
1) Over €120 + VAT if they accept and sign the special terms of the company’s contract and pay €15/day for categories A, B, C, D
2) Over €190 + VAT if they accept and sign the special terms of the company’s contract and pay €20/day for categories E, F
If the vehicle reserved cannot be delivered due to unforeseen circumstances, and no equivalent vehicle is available, the renter will be provided with a vehicle of a higher category at the price of the original reservation.
Driving in accordance with the Highway Code is a necessary condition. Damage to tires, undercarriage, and theft of personal belongings are not covered by any insurance.
LPC – THEFT, FIRE:
The renter is fully exempt from liability for any damage to the vehicle due to fire or theft if they accept and sign the relevant terms of the company's contract and pay €10/day for categories A, B, C, D, E, F, G.
A key condition is the absence of negligence (e.g., unlocked vehicle).
ROAD ASSISTANCE: Mascot vehicles are covered 24 hours by road assistance. Contact information will be provided at the station.
Long-Term Rentals: Rental contracts will be renewed every 30 days.
